STUDENT COUNCIL

Advisor: Mr Lane

Description: Student Council consists of five elected students from each grade, as well as an executive board. Our meetings are open to all members of the school from 2-3 on Thursdays in room A215. This year, we are pushing out “Be a Piece of the Big Picture” as our school-wide theme.

Activities:  Fall and Spring Spirit Weeks, Fall and Spring Spirit Rallies, Colonial Way, Coins for a Cure, Pink Day, CDMASC Fall Conference, MASC Officershop, Halloween Costume Contest, Leadership Summit, Town Meeting, Thanksgiving Food and Supply Drive, StuCo Pursuits throughout the year, Blood Drive, CDMASC Spring Conference, MASC, as well as additional volunteering throughout the year. StuCo is also in charge of the Class Cup Competition which runs year-round.
