MUSLIM STUDENT CLUB

Advisor: Mr. Burton

Description: In our club, we look to educate others about Islamic culture and promote interfaith unity at Shrewsbury High School. Any issues that may affect our ability to properly practice our religion at school are addressed to administration. Additionally, we partake in humanitarian activities to contribute to our community locally and globally. 

Meeting Days and Times: Fridays 2:30

Officers: Rayaan Hussain Abdul Rasheed, Ayesha Naveed, Farhan Hussain, Hajara D’Urso

Activities: Our activities include: Friday prayer, community clean ups, folding clothes and helping with fundraising events for Helping Hands for Relief and Development (a global humanitarian organization), making food bags for refugee families in Worcester, visit elderly homes, movie night, Secret Samosa (our version of Secret Santa)
