SPECIAL PEER CONNECTION
Advisors - Mrs. Cobb
Description: Special Peers Connections is a formal opportunity for students of all abilities to meet together once per month and participate in an activity as a group. Students in Special Peers Connections have been involved in a variety of activities. Some of which are a trip to the AMC bowling alleys, making gifts for Mother’s Day, designing T-shirts, attending dances and holding a car wash. Special Peers typically meets as a group twice per month, usually on the first or second Wednesday, and then again on the third Wednesday. The first meeting is usually only about 15 minutes or so, and it’s an opportunity for student officers and participants to plan out an activity for the second meeting of the month. This second meeting is when the activity takes place, which runs from 2 to around 3.
Activities include social interaction in one to one and group activities.
We meet every other Wednesday at 2pm in M310
