Superintendent search

Shrewsbury Public Schools is seeking a Superintendent of Schools to start on July 1, 2026, due to the upcoming retirement of current Superintendent Dr. Joseph M. Sawyer.  

In December 2025, the Shrewsbury School Committee selected the New England School Development Council (NESDEC) as its Search Consultant and established the Superintendent Search Screening Committee. You can view the Superintendent Job Posting here.
