Description: United Sound is a nationally-run school-based instrumental music program for students with special needs and their typical peers.  Dedicated to promoting social involvement through shared ensemble performance experience, United Sound joins students with and without disabilities to learn and perform in the band and orchestra together.  

Meeting Days and Times:  Thursdays from 2:15-3:00

Activities: Students with special needs pick an instrument to learn and then team up with students from SHS Band and Orchestra to practice it each week.  During rehearsal students work together to learn pieces and ultimately perform as part of SHS Symphony Orchestra during SHS Performing Arts Department concerts.
