MARINE BIOLOGY CLUB
Advisor: Mr. Brocki (2016-present)
Description: The club is a place for students to share their passion for marine organisms and the marine environment.
Marine Biology Club meets bi-weekly on Mondays 2:30pm-3:15pm in A117
Activities: Include planning and organizing fundraisers to donate/support charitable organizations (e.g. Nantucket Marine Mammal Conservation Program, Marine Mammal Institute, The Marine Conservancy, The Ocean Preservation Society, etc.), watching documentaries on Marine Biology issues, dissecting sharks, and otherwise sharing our love for and interest in marine organisms. This year we are going to attempt to raise trout for release in MA waterways via the "Teaching with Trout" program from the Massachusetts Department of Fisheries and Wildlife.
