girls who code CLUB
Advisor: Mr. Shah
Description:
Girls Who Code is a national organization that encourages girls (and boys!) to enter STEAM fields. Through sisterhood activities and learning about other pioneers in the field, members are encouraged to grow in bravery, resilience, creativity, and purpose. All members have access to self-guided tutorials to learn coding languages including Scratch, Python, Swift, and JavaScript. We work towards a common goal and create projects that reflect our purpose during that year.
Meeting days and Time: Friday’s A104 Computer Lab 2:20-3:05 pm
Student Leader: Alina Tarasevich and Maria Korneva
Activities: Learn to code in different languages, participate in sisterhood activities, and work on group project throughout the year to showcase what they learned in the tutorials.
