The Shrewsbury High School Athletic Department offers a variety of interscholastic sports teams that compete at the varsity, junior varsity, freshmen and middle school levels. We currently have 34 varsity, 17 junior varsity, 3 freshmen and 3 middle school sports programs that compete at the Division I state level.

Shrewsbury High School is a proud member of the Midland-Wachusett League (Mid-Wach). Additionally, boys and girls crew compete independently. Boys and girls ice hockey and boys and girls skiing are members of the Central Massachusetts League.  Our school's crew team has been competing at the local and national level since 1937.

Shrewsbury's athletic program provides student athletes opportunities that help develop and promote leadership skills, individual responsibility and active citizenship. The program continues to grow both in terms of student participation and the number of sports offered. We have an experienced and reliable coaching staff committed to helping students develop as athletes and individuals. The athletic facilities at Shrewsbury High School are state-of-the-art and include a 150-meter indoor track, gymnastics, dance and aerobics training center, ten basketball hoops and a fully equipped fitness center. Our outdoor track facilities are well maintained and include all necessary practice and game-day fields. The fall of 2018 brought the induction of our new turf stadium.

Remember, You can't hide that Colonial pride!
