This club will focus on the change we can bring to school at the hands of our culture.
This is a place where people of similar backgrounds can gather and reflect on overlapping
experiences and discriminations. We are passionate about where we come from and we need to
show that within this community. Our meetings would be filled with ways to show others in our
school the importance of speaking about the adversities that Latinos face and the resilience they
show on a day to day life. We show pride in our home culture and the richness of our heritage.
We are trying to organize a cultural fair where we will share the food, music, games, and stories
of our ancestry. We would love to share the ways that our Latin roots have an influence on the
lives of people who may not even have an affiliation with the culture. This is a place where you
can trust that the people around you have your best interest at heart and will like the comradery.

Activities:
- speaking on current events
- Pop culture immersion (music, art, etc.)
- Ancestry
- Speaking on personal experiences
Expectations:
- respect ( everyone will be respectful regardless of experience)
- Be united ( the most amount of change can only happen if we are a united front. THERE
IS POWER IN NUMBERS!)
- Be prepared to get to know the people around you and create a bond (we are here to be
there for eachother)
