OMS BASKETBALL CHEERLEADING

Athletes will learn sideline cheers, stunting, tumbling, jumps and a 2.5-minute competition routine.
Experience is not needed. The season is from December 2022 through February 2023.
TRYOUTS: Monday 12/05/22 & Tuesday 12/06/22 from 4:45 – 7:00 at Shrewsbury High School dance
room. (Dance Room is in the field house / gym area)
PRACTICE SCHEDULE: Monday, Tuesday & Friday 4:45 – 7:00 @ Shrewsbury High School dance room.
(This will be the practice schedule for the entire season. Please make sure you can commit to attending
all practices & games.)
We will be competing in two competitions in February: 02/04/23 & 02/12/23. Competitions are all day
events so please be sure you can commit to attending the events all day. Specific times will be
announced in February.
We will be cheering for all HOME GAMES @ Oak Middle school on Thursdays. We only cheer for one
game, whichever team (boys or girls) is playing at 3:30.
You must be willing to commit to attending ALL practices and games in accordance with MSAA rules to
