About the Building
The school building was constructed in 1953 originally as Shrewsbury High School. When construction of a new high school was complete, renovations were started to add a second middle school in Shrewsbury. In September 2004 the school was reopened as Oak Middle School.
Oak Middle School consists of Grades 7 and 8.
There are approximately 950 students currently enrolled for the 2024-25 school year. There are 5 teams per grade with four core teachers per team. A special education teacher and paraprofessionals and/or ABA technicians are assigned to each team.
Our team colors are:
8 Blue | 8 Gold | 8 Green | 8 Red | 8 Teal |
7 Teal | 7 Blue | 7 Red | 7 Green | 7 Gold |
