Shrewsbury High School has changed the start and end times starting this coming school year. The school day will start at 7:55 am and end at 2:20 pm. We will ring a five-minute warning bell at 7:50 to allow students to move to the first class of the day. The school day will end at 2:20 pm and after-school co-curricular activities will start at approximately 2:50 pm. Our staff will still be available for 30 minutes after the school day on Monday - Thursday to support students with extra help sessions. Ideally, our staff would be available each day, however, we also have staff meetings and other meetings that teachers need to attend after the close of the instructional day, therefore, teachers will share their weekly availability with students at the start of the school year.
Finally, it is very important for you to know the building will be open for student arrival starting at 7:15 am and the building will close for students after-school at 4:30 pm. Please plan for your student’s arrival and pick-up for next school year.
