Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is an after school program that is linked to the National Science Olympiad competition, one of the premiere science competitions in the nation, providing rigorous, standards-based challenges to nearly 6,400 teams in 50 states.

Science Olympiad's has a changing event lineup linked to a variety of career choices and exposure to practicing  scientists and mentors. Each year there are a variety of different events in all areas of science and technology.

Registration Information

There will be an informational meeting for students about Science Olympiad on Monday, Sept 24th from 2:30 – 3:15 in room 429. This meeting will help students understand what Science Olympiad is and what the time commitment to the team is.

There will be a meeting for parents only on Wednesday, October 3rd at 6:00 pm in the Oak Media Center to inform parents about the Science Olympiad program. 

A lottery for the 30 Science Olympiad team members will be held for interested students in mid-October.
