Preparing For Your Assabet Interview

All interviews will be scheduled directly through Assabet.  They will be offering both in person and video call interviews.

Pre-Interview Pointers:

  • Prepare by practicing these questions with someone.
  • Get a good night’s sleep.  Eat breakfast.
  • Dress neatly.  Be yourself, but put together.
  • Be respectful. Confident.  Don’t use slang.
  • Take your time answering.  It is okay to take time to gather your thoughts.
  • First impressions matter.  Make good eye contact and introduce yourself.
  • Have fun!  Remember:  There are NO wrong answers!
  • What does it mean to “sell yourself” in an interview
  • What are some skills or traits you want to show to your interviewer?
  • How can we turn a negative scenario into a positive?  Consider how remote/hybrid learning has affected you this year.  If you have had a difficult time, can you help the interview understand why?
