• 1 1” 3-Ring Binder with Paper; Dividers for subjects
• 1 folder with pockets
• 1 pack * # 2 pencils
• 1 pack * Pens
• 1 pack    Colored Pencils or Markers
• 1 pack    Dry-Erase Expo Markers
• 3 Multi-Color Highlighters
• 1 Eraser
• 1 Pencil Case
• 1 Glue Stick
• 4 pads * of 3 x 3 (or smaller) Post-it notes. NO SUPER STICKY NOTES! They ruin books.
• 1 pack  3x5 Index cards
• 1 metric ruler (cm)
• 1 Scissors
• 4 bags **  Gallon Size Ziploc Bags (to protect media center books)
• headphones/ earbuds
• Stylus Pen for iPad (optional)

    *recommend carrying 2 pens/ 2 pencils / one pad post-it notes daily and keeping a supply at home
    ** zip lock bags can remain at home until needed for a book
    
Optional:    1 journaling notebook. We will be journaling in ELA; students have a choice to write on paper (lined or sketchbook) OR do their journal digitally on Google Docs.
