Along with all the adults who are resources for you at Sherwood, we hope that you will remember that we are another resource to you. If you would like to check in with one of us about a concern you’re having at school or home, please reach out.  

You can contact us multiple ways:

  • Leave us a note in the main office or stop us when you see one of us at school.
  • Ask your teacher to contact one of us.
  • Ask someone at home to contact us.

Group Opportunities:

“It’s complicated… but not to us!”

We wanted to alert you to an opportunity being offered to 5th and 6th grade students. The two Adjustment Counselors, Mrs. O’Connell, Grade 5 Adjustment Counselor and Mrs. Connole, Grade 6 Adjustment Counselor, will be hosting a 6-session group for approximately 20 students who are a part of divorced, separated, or blended families. The goal of the group is to provide a sense of common experience for students with similar family makeup, build coping skills, and provide opportunities to reflect on how the Holidays impact them. The group will meet on Day 5 at 1:50- 2:30  on November 17th, November 30th, December 8th, December 18th, January 3rd, January 11th, and January 22nd will be a make up date if needed.

Interested students must submit to the Main Office:

  • Completed Student Registration Form 
  • Completed Parent Permission Form

Deadline for completed forms will be Monday, November 13, 2017.
