Hilary Clegg, Media Specialist

Welcome to the Sherwood Middle School Media Center!

Students may visit the Media Center with their classes, or any time that their teachers allow. Students may check out two books for up to two weeks, and a book may be renewed as long as it's not on hold for another student. Ask at the desk if there is a book you'd like us to place on hold for you! ELA books (read by the entire class) don't count toward the two-book limit.

We need volunteers!

Our Scholastic Book Fair will be held from October 31st to November 6th.

Please consider signing up to volunteer. The book fair is a fun event for our students that encourages literacy, and the efforts of our dedicated volunteers really make it possible. Proceeds will be used to purchase materials for the Media Center for all students to enjoy.  If you have any questions at all, please email Ms. Clegg.

The Media Center would also like to thank the families who've donated magazine subscriptions to the Media Center through the PTO Magazine Drive. They're very popular!

Thank you to the wonderful Mrs. Pope, our retired Media Specialist who compiled most of these resources.

The renovated and expanded Shrewsbury Public Library also offers many helpful resources!

In addition to their large print collection, they offer digital content, including Freading (eBook service) and Freegal (free and legal downloads of popular music.) They also offer ebooks and digital audiobooks through overdrive, which you can access with the Libby app on your iPad.
