Attention Parents of Freshmen and Sophomores

We are pleased to announce that Breakfast With School Counseling has begun! Based on feedback from last year's participants, we are expanding to serve ninth and tenth grade parents as they traverse the landscape of high school. While several of the topics will remain the same, we have added some new features as well. We are hoping that these sessions covering a variety of topics will help ease 9th and 10th grade parent concerns related to their child's high school experience. This year, the program is structured as follows:

  • September 28-Demystifying the Transcript
  • October 19-Naviance and Family Connection
  • November 9-Stress Management
  • January 11-Course Selection Process
  • February 8-Substance Abuse Awareness & Education
  • April 12-Navigating the American College System

Scheduled for an hour, 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, one Friday per month from September to March, each session will be available on a first-come, first served basis. Parents can sign up at the start of each month for that month's session by calling Mrs. Martha Murphy, School Counseling Secretary at 508-841-8815, or via email.
