After School Activities Program (ASAP)
Throughout the year, Coolidge offers a variety of hour-long after-school activities for a small fee. Classes run once per week for six weeks, and each session costs $40. Registration for the winter session opens Tuesday, January 9th at 7:00AM through the parent portal. Class size is limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment is due at the time of registration. Unpaid registrations will be deleted.
All classes meet on Thursdays from 3:45-4:45 at Coolidge School - students may only register for one class.
Class: Legos, Legos Everywhere!
Grades: 1, 2, 3, 4
Time: Thursdays, 3:45-4:45
Dates: 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/29, 3/7, 3/14
Class Size: 16 students
Instructor: Blake Jarvi
Description: Join us and let your imagination run wild! You will have the freedom to build on your own or work with friends. Need a break from building? No problem! We’ll have a variety of LEGO themed activities as well.
Class: Ballroom Dance
Grades: 1-4
Time: Thursdays, 3:45-4:45
Dates: 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/29, 3/7, 3/14
Class Size: 16 students
Instructor: Sarah Williams
Description: Ballroom dance is the name for a number of dances done in ballrooms. Students will be introduced to the basics of ballroom dancing styles such as waltz, cha cha, and swing! Dance is fun, it promotes a healthy and active lifestyle, boosts social interactions, builds self-esteem, confidence, discipline, and more. The benefits of ballroom dancing for kids are countless!
Additional Information
- Students are supervised from 3:30-3:45.Class begins at 3:45.
- There is no transportation provided for this class. Parents must pick up their child in the Coolidge lobby promptly at 4:45
- Students who are enrolled in extended day will be brought to the cafeteria after class and you may pick them up from ESC as you normally would
- Class fees are non-refundable. Credit will not be given if your child misses a class. If a class is cancelled (for inclement weather or teacher illness) we will make every effort to offer a make-up class on a different date
Registration Instructions:
- Log into the Parent Portal.
- From the navigation menu on the left, select “Sports and Activities”
- Choose the class you wish to take by clicking “Assign Fee”
- From the navigation menu, select “Payment Center” and you will be redirected to School Pay
Your spot is not reserved until you have completed your payment. Unpaid registrations will be automatically deleted.
