After School Activities Program (ASAP)

The Coolidge After School Activities Program (ASAP) offers hour-long classes that run once a week, after school, for 6 weeks.

REGISTRATION NOW THROUGH THE PARENT PORTAL. Payment must be made at the time of registration.  Unpaid registrations will be deleted.

All classes run simultaneously, so you may only choose one of the following classes.  Please note the specific grade level for each class.

Class: Creating with Clay!
Grades: 3 & 4
Instructor: Mrs. Loconsolo
Schedule: Mondays, 3:30-4:30
Class size: 12
Dates: March 28, April 4, April 11, April 25, May 2 and May 9
Description: Kids LOVE clay! The benefits of clay play extend beyond just being FUN! Creating with clay develops a child's large and small muscles by improving dexterity and fostering hand-eye coordination. It also provides mathematical understanding through the creation of 3-D shapes and literacy growth through vocabulary building. Students will have the opportunity to play with clay each week and create two pieces to be fired and painted. They will choose one project to take home and keep one at school to be displayed in the Annual Art Festival in May. All work will be returned after the festival.

Dates: March 28, April 4, April 11, April 25, May 2 and May 9
Description: Ballroom dance is the name for a number of dances done in ballrooms. Students will be introduced to the basics of ballroom dancing styles such as waltz, cha cha, and swing! Dance is fun, it promotes a healthy and active lifestyle, boosts social interactions, builds self-esteem, confidence, discipline, and more. The benefits of ballroom dancing for kids are countless! For COVID safety, students will not be dancing in contact with other students.

Registration Instructions:

  • Log into the Parent Portal
  • From the navigation menu on the left, select “Sports and Activities”
  • Choose the class you wish to take by clicking “Assign Fee”
  • From the navigation menu, select “Payment Center” and you will be redirected to School Pay
  • Your spot is not reserved until you have completed your payment.
