summer robotics program
The 2024 summer program is full
During this week-long program, students will learn how to build and program Lego Mindstorm robots, working collaboratively in small groups with coaching from the Shrewsbury High School Robotics Team. Students will participate in a variety of other group challenges and activities throughout the week, including buliding and launching their own model rocket! All activities teach students about teamwork, compromise, success, failure and more. They will have fun in the process and learn valuable teamworking skills.
Grades: For students entering grades 4-8 in the fall of 2024
Location: Shrewsbury High School
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30

Students should bring a lunch from home Monday-Thursday, On Friday we provide the students with a pizza lunch, this is included in the price. During Friday afternoon the students compete against the other teams using the Lego Robots they have been building during the week. This competition is based on the FIRST Lego League competition from the preceding season. Parents are invited to come and watch this.
