NOW OPEN - 2016-2017 Application for School Choice Lottery

As part of the overall fiscal plan for FY17, the School Committee voted to open a maximum of 30 seats for School Choice students in the 2016-2017 school year. This was done after careful consideration of where we plan to have some seats available and still stay within or very close to School Committee class size guidelines. The strategy plans for $112,500 in new and recurring revenue for FY17 and beyond and prevents what would have been additional budget reductions of the same amount.

The vote was to allow up to 30 students in the following grades:

Grade 2 (9 students)

Grade 4 (6 students)

Grade 5 (5 students)

Grade 6 (10 students)
