Reporting a Suspected Bullying Incident
Students, parents and caregivers, and community members who become aware of any incident or situation of inappropriate behavior that may be considered bullying are encouraged to immediately report it to the school.
Reporting Option #1: Verbal Reporting
Anyone who sees or hears of a suspected bullying incident is urged to report the incident to a school staff member in person or by telephone. This can include the principal, assistant principal, or any other staff you are comfortable communicating with. All staff are required to communicate any reports of suspected bullying to their principal/assistant principal.
If you make a verbal report to the school, the school staff member will recommend that you put your concerns in writing, using the online form linked below or the hard copy form. If you are not willing or able to make a written report, a school staff member will document your concerns in writing.
Reporting Option #2: Online Form
You are encouraged to use the online form found by clicking HERE to report inappropriate behavior that could be bullying. You are encouraged to share your contact information to assist with the investigation, and the school will maintain your confidentiality to the extent possible given the circumstances. However, this form can also be submitted anonymously and will be investigated.
Reporting Option #3: Hard Copy Form
If you prefer to fill out a hard copy of the reporting form, click HERE to report inappropriate behavior that could be bullying. You are encouraged to share your contact information to assist with the investigation, and the school will maintain your confidentiality to the extent possible given the circumstances. However, this form can also be submitted anonymously.
Acknowledgement of Receipt of a Report
If you identify yourself through any form of reporting, you will also receive a communication from the principal, assistant principal, or their designee to confirm this information was received. If you do not receive an acknowledgement, please reach out directly to the school to confirm that the information was received.
