Floral Street Visual Arts

In each grade level at Floral Street students will learn and build upon new concepts, techniques and materials. 

• Grade 1 will develop an understanding on how to use and take care of art materials -for example cutting and pasting, and demonstrate that understanding in their art projects.
• Grade 2 will develop an understanding of  how to render overlapping shapes and demonstrate that understanding in their art projects.
• Grade 3 will develop an understanding of design elements and color. Students will demonstrate that understanding in their art projects.
• Grade 4 will develop understandings of creative strategies, such as perspective, to create complex pieces of art
