Information for the March session

  • All classes will run on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30.

  • Class dates: 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27, 4/3, 4/10

  • Cost:  $40

Class name:  Minute to Win It with STEM Sorry, class is full
Instructor: Bindu Gupta
Grades: 2, 3, 4
Description: We will learn, practice, and challenge each other with STEM based challenges. Using common house hold items, we will be using science to make entertaining projects in order to compete in the minute to win it games. Let's have fun with learning!

Class name:  Robotics Programming and Coding - sorry, class is full
Instructor: Jason Andreola
Grades: 1, 2, 3, 4
Description: Students will learn programming in a fun and interactive way using app-enabled robots! Through the Sphero Edu and Wonder Workshop programs, students will learn how to code; incorporating robotics and technology with collaborative STEAM activities. This hands-on class will develop essential 21st century skills, as students work collaboratively to problem solve and program robots. Note: this class is only for students who are new to coding and robotics. Please do not register for this class if your child has previously taken a similar class.

Class name:  Yoga with a Theme - sorry, class is full
Instructor: Bonnie Pierce
Grades: K-4
Description: Each class will be centered around a different theme and will include yoga poses, partner poses and activities, yoga games, and a guided relaxation.  Students will brainstorm and vote on five different themes. Past themes have included: Wild Animals, Football, Superheroes, Outer Space, and a Pajama Party.

Additional Information

  • Students are supervised in the gym from 3:15-3:30, prior to the start of class
  • There is no transportation provided for this class.  Parents must pick up their child in the Spring lobby promptly at 4:30
  • Students who are enrolled in extended day will be brought to the cafeteria after class and you may pick them up from ESC as you normally would
  • Class fees are non-refundable.  Credit will not be given if your child misses a class.  If a class is cancelled (for inclement weather or teacher illness) we will make every effort to offer a make-up class on a different date

Registration Instructions:

  • Log into the Parent Portal.
  • From the navigation menu on the left, select “Sports and Activities”
  • Choose the class you wish to take by clicking “Assign Fee”
  • From the navigation menu, select “Payment Center” and you will be redirected to School Pay
  • Your spot is not reserved until you have completed your payment.

The Spring After School Activities Program (ASAP) offers hour-long classes that run once a week after school for 6 weeks.  Anticipated program dates for the 2018-2019 school year are:
Session 1:  October 1- November 9
Session 2: January 7 - February 15
Session 3:  March 4 - April 12
Session 4:  April 29 - June 7

Each class costs $40. Class titles vary depending on the interests and availability of the teachers.

Classes are only open to the students enrolled at Spring. Information about the classes will be posted here, and will be included in the principal's weekly email to parents.
