Telethon Video Submissions

What are we looking for?

We are looking for 12 video clips of student performances, outside of our school performances, to include in the upcoming "For the love of the Performing Arts” telethon.  These video clips can be newly recorded solo pieces or previously recorded group performances, like a student founded band or local dance troupe.  Videos must be limited to 3 minutes in length.

Videos do not have to be professional quality recordings nor should anyone break social distancing guidelines in order to submit a performance piece.  We just ask that you do your best to record any new performance in a quiet, well-lit setting, with no interruptions.  That can be your living room, basement, the garage, etc.

We welcome dance, instrumental performances, singing, acting, even comedy or improv.

Recordings must be submitted by Friday, February 12

Recording Tips

  • Use a well-lit area to record (if possible)
  • Record in wide angle mode
  • Do your best to provide good audio
  • Keep your talent to 3 minutes in length
  • Have fun and don’t stress about the overall quality.  Although we would like great video and audio, your true talent will show through!

How To Submit Your Performance

Please upload your video clip using Telethon Video Submission FormYou must complete this form and upload the video using a Shrewsbury Public Schools student gmail account.  Students should be able to access this account through any personal computer or device.

We need recordings of 12 performances to fit into the alloted time we have for the telethon.  We will include more performances if at all possible but we cannot make any guarantees.  If we cannot use your submission, we will notify you before the telethon.
