Why Your Sponsorship Is So Important
Almost one year ago, Shrewsbury Public Schools closed for the remainder of the school year due to the growing COVID-19 pandemic. This decision came only hours before the annual Shrewsbury High School spring musical was scheduled to go live. Since then, regular fundraisers have been cancelled, theaters remain dark, instruments and singers are solo and choruses are silent. Extremely tight district budgets mean no extras, no additions and no enhancements to many programs, including the performing arts. We’re calling on you, our patrons and staunch supporters, to help us. Please join us as a telethon sponsor and help us reach our goal of raising $50,000 to support the Performing Arts Program in Shrewsbury Public Schools. Sponsorships start as low as $100.

Proceeds from the telethon will go towards the many needs in the Performing Arts Program that have accumulated over the last several years, including storage for instruments, stage lighting, and the purchase or replacement of instruments. We also hope to help fund our new music program, United Sound, a school-based instrumental music program that joins students with and without disabilities to learn and perform in the band and orchestra together.

If you cannot be a sponsor at this time, please consider a donation of any amount to help us reach our goal to make the Shrewsbury Public Schools performing arts program even stronger. We are grateful for anything you can do to help us.
