FACILITy and artificial turf field RENTALs

The School Committee supports the use of school facilities by community groups after normal school hours.  Such use enriches the quality of life in Shrewsbury for everyone - students and adults alike.  If you are interested in using one of our public school facilities, please read through the guidelines.

If your recognized organization fits within the policy guidelines, you may reach out to the Facilities Coordinator, April Yu, at ayu@shrewsbury.k12.ma.us or (508) 841-8363 to check for availability.  Once your request is approved and we have received your Certificate of Liability Insurance, the reservation(s) will be made.

Special Notice to Camp Operators

New state regulations for camps are now enacted and administered by local Boards of Health.  If you are renting Shrewsbury Public Schools to operate a camp, it is your responsibility and your duty to adhere to all new state regulations.  You can click here to read the regulations.  All applications for camp approvals from the Board of Health must be obtained and coordinated directly between you and the Board of Health.  The School Department will share information about its outside rentals to ensure full compliance.  Finally, what the state defines as a "camp" is clearly specified in the regulations.  It is your responsibility to understand if the regulations apply to you.  Shrewsbury Board of Health information on Recreational Camps for Children can be accessed by clicking this link.
