Issue identified with Veritas nasal swab QR scanning, and workaround

We have recently learned that a set of QR codes printed on the Veritas nasal swab collection devices are not scanning properly on some mobile devices. At this time this issue is only affecting nasal swab tubes, not saliva.

 

The lab is working on producing and distributing new tubes with enhanced QR codes. For any QR code that does not scan directly to our website as usual, please do not search google for "covid.vg/Y123456". Instead please navigate to https://www.covid.vg where you will be prompted to enter your barcode during the normal registration process.

 

Please pass this information along to staff and parents who are registering kits at home so they can successfully complete the registration process. 

 

We apologize for the additional step and will send an update when this issue has been resolved.
