Dear SPS Families,
I hope this message finds you well. Our school district's focus for the coming year is to develop a safe school environment for our students and staff that prioritizes everyone's well-being and enables high levels of learning for all. I am asking for your assistance to help guide this critically important work.
We have several teams who are working hard at determining options for school reopening based upon the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education's regulations and guidance for local school districts, which can be found here and here, while closely monitoring the latest information from medical experts and the evolving data regarding the pandemic both in Massachusetts and in Shrewsbury. We are seeking your input as parents and caretakers on several topics we must address in our planning.
Please click on the link below to complete a short survey to provide us with your current preferences regarding potential reopening issues, based on your understanding of COVID-19 and your level of comfort. I ask that if you have more than one student in our schools, please repeat the survey for each of your children, as having information specific to each school and grade level will be very helpful for our planning.

The survey will be open through Monday, July 20. However, I will be presenting data based on surveys completed by 3:00pm tomorrow, Wednesday, July 15, at tomorrow evening's School Committee meeting, so if you have the opportunity to complete the survey by then that would be much appreciated.
