SUMMER SPARK 2020

After much deliberation, we decided to cancel our summer enrichment programs because we cannot guarantee that our programs will be allowed by the state and that we'd be able to provide security to parents and children.  We don't want to be in a position of starting a program and then subsequently having to cancel or delay it, as this would cause much disruption to families.

Summer Spark is an exciting week-long experience for rising Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors at Shrewsbury High School.  The programs that make up Summer Spark will take students beyond the traditional classroom to AWAKEN new interests, INSPIRE existing passions and EXCITE eager minds.  It’s a summer program like none we have offered before!

With these classes, we help students to explore and build relationships within their community,  through field trips, guest speakers and hands-on experiences.  Last summer, students traveled to 3 different colleges, learned about real-life uses for drones from a Massachusetts State Police officer and practiced the physics of exercise.
