2018-2022 Strategic Priorities and Goals

Strategic Priorities & Goals for 2018-2022 for Shrewsbury Public Schools were approved by the Shrewsbury School Committee on December 20, 2017. Since that time, district leaders have worked on devising a more specific set of goals to be completed by the end of 2020 that will advance the broader, five-year strategic priorities and goals. These District Goals 2018 – 2020 were approved by the School Committee on April 25, 2018.

Strategic Priority:

Space and resources to support effective learning

Learning environments where everyone’s success matters

Enhanced well-being of all

Connected learning for a complex world

Feedback from  students, staff, parents, and community members was critical in developing our Portrait of a Shrewsbury Graduate and our Five-Year Strategic Priorities & Goals, which reflect the topics that you said are most important for our schools. Feedback through a joint meeting of all school councils, a public forum, and contributions from the district leadership team helped shape the priorities and goals.  Additionally, an online survey process called Thoughtexchange garnered thousands of comments from students, staff, parents, and community members regarding what topics were most important for our schools (detailed information on the exchange process and the survey data can be found at this website).
