January 12, 2020

Dear OMS Families,

Dear OMS Families,
As I write this message, it is sunny outside with the temperature above 60.  I know this can’t last so some outside time is certainly in order for today!  I hope you too are enjoying this mid-winter break in the weather.

This week we look forward to community meetings where we will celebrate our student’s accomplishments in Habits of Work and Learning (HOWLs.)  Teachers have nominated students to receive awards in the areas of respect, responsibility, and perseverance.  Each nominee will receive a copy of their nomination along with a HOWLs token created by Yumna Syed, Angie Baldor, Noelle Daley and Kylie Camosse as part of their Design Lab class challenge.   Special thanks to Mr. Jeremy Mularella for teaching students the design development process along with guiding them as they learned to use the laser cutter (purchased by the Colonial Fund.)

In next week’s update, we’ll be sure to highlight the names of all HOWLs award recipients.

Have a great week!
