Dear Shrewsbury Families & Colleagues,
Please see the updates below and in this five-minute video message that I recorded today. In it, I refer to the message I sent yesterday regarding our national crisis and our school district's response, which can be found here.

1) Graduation Part I is tonight at 7:00pm. Tune in to SELCO Channels 29 & 329 or click here to watch the live stream on the Shrewsbury Media Connection website. I'm looking forward to this prerecorded presentation that includes remarks from Class of 2020 officers, valedictorian, and salutatorian; Vice Chair of the School Committee Jon Wensky (also a proud 2020 parent); myself; and Principal Todd Bazydlo, who will certify the class. These will be followed by each graduate's name being read aloud while a photograph and their name are displayed. The video will be posted soon on the Shrewsbury Media Connection's YouTube channel, where you can also view this past Tuesday's Commemoration broadcast (including the Senior Class Video), and where you will also soon be able to view video of last evening's "Last Ride" car parade through the SHS campus, which was a huge success. Congratulations Class of 2020!
2) Virtual Art Show: Thanks to our Visual Arts Department faculty, student artwork from across our elementary, middle, and high school grades can be viewed virtually through a slide show found here. This exhibit is full of remarkable, creative works of art!
3) Click here to view last evening's School Committee meeting, which included a brief update on planning for next fall, information about software we will be providing to families over the summer to assist with student learning, and the presentation of a statewide award to our school district for outstanding operational and cost efficiency.
