COVID-19 TESTING PROGRAM

In Fall 2022, Shrewsbury Public Schools will provide rapid testing supplies only to those students and staff who present with COVID symptoms in school and have a COVID testing consent form on file.  While supplies last, a test kit will be offered to the family of a student who requires dismissal due to symptoms; testing will occur at home and results will be reported to the school nurse.

All of the weekly surveillance testing programs, Test and Stay trailer, and distribution of rapid tests have been defunded by the state and thus will no longer be provided by Shrewsbury Public Schools.

Students and staff who present with COVID symptoms should stay home and follow current guidance provided by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
