In accordance with the “School Choice Law” (M. G. L. c76 12B), the School Committee will vote before June 1st each year and notify the Department of Education on whether the Shrewsbury Public Schools will participate in School Choice for the following year.
On April 12, 2023, the School Committee voted to not participate in interdistrict school choice for the 2023-2024 school year.
If warranted, residency checks may be conducted by the School Department or the Shrewsbury Police Department at any time during a child's enrollment in Shrewsbury Public Schools.
