Speech and Language Therapy Services in the Schools
The role of the speech and language pathologist in the school-based setting is to identify communication disorders that interfere with a student's ability to function in the classroom, and to improve student communication skills. Services may be provided in the classroom setting or in the speech/language therapy room. In addition, services may be provided through a consultation or collaboration model.
The purpose of this website is to provide information, resources, and activities for parent and staff use when supporting children with communication disorders.
