After School Activities Program (ASAP)

Beal ASAP

The Beal After School Activities Program offers after school classes throughout the year.
These classes are only open to students currently enrolled in Beal School.  For 2017-2018, classes will be offered starting in October, January, March and April.
All information about the classes will be posted here and announcements will be sent to all Beal parents via email in advance of registration.  Class offerings vary throughout the year depending on teacher availability and interest.

Class: Dance Explorers
Time: Monday 3:45-4:45
Dates: 1/8, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/26

Description: Do you love to dance? Want to learn some fun new dance movements and create some of your own? Join us for this movement-filled class "Dance Explorers"! See you soon.

Class: Friends, Fitness, Fun
Time: Monday 3:45-4:45
Dates: 1/8, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/26

Description: A class to get moving through super kid workouts! Kids will spend the hour exercising through group workouts together, simple circuits, and stretching to introduce the importance of staying fit and healthy.

Description: Calling all Pinkalicious fans!  Each week we will read a story by Victoria Kann and do a craft!  A sweet treat will be included during one of our weeks.  Get ready to have a pinkerrific time!  Please note:  This is a repeat of the class that was offered in the fall. There will not be any new content.

Class: Get Your Body Moving
Time: Wednesday 3:45-4:45
Dates: 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/28  (NOTE:  This class is on Wednesday and starts a week later than the other classes)

Description: Did you know that exercise is great for your body and your brain? "Get Your Body Moving" is a program designed to strengthen the brain and body to prepare it for learning and academic success. Come join me for an hour packed full of movement play, exercise, activities and fun! Children will participate in many gym based games and activities where they will be strengthening both their minds and bodies!
